History

1932 The founder, Yoshijiro Honda founded Honda Rashi Seisakusho for the business of precision screw machining.

1947 Honda Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd. is established.

1955 Designated as an approved factory for plugs and jacks in conformity with the Defense Agency's SSS Standards

1960 Honda Denshi Kogyo Co., Ltd. is established.

⇒ 1968 Reorganized into the Matsumoto Factory (currently, the Azumino Factory) of Honda Tsushin Kogyo

1971 Delivers connectors for clip terminal buttons to the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation.

1983 Establishes Honda Engineering Co., Ltd. (currently known as Minebea SoftwareSolutions Inc.)

1999 Achieves stock listing on the over-the-counter market

2001 Achieves stock listing on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange 

2001 Launches a factory in Shenzhen, China

2008 Forms a capital and business partnership with tie-up with Matsushita Electric Works Co., Ltd. (currently known as Panasonic Corporation)

2010 Establishes Azumino Honda Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd. (through  merger between of Azusa Electronics, Inc. and Honda Kousan Co., Ltd.)

2010 Establishes Honda Connectors Mfg. (SZ) Ltd. (by reorganizing the China factory into a local subsidiary)

2011 Launches full-scale operation in the automotive sector

2012 Marks the 80th anniversary and integrates the HTK brand

2014 Relocates the head office to Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo

2016 Moves stock listing to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

2022 Moved to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market.

2022 Integrated the business with MinebeaMitsumi Inc. through a tender offer.
